YOU CAN GO to a major brand Custom shop and specify what you want; ebony fretboard, LED fret markers, choice of woods, fingerboard radius, neck profile, etc, but unless you're famous or properly loaded, that is often not an option for most!
What I offer is the reassurance of having exactly what you want, how you want it.
The benefit of an independent artisan guitar builder is virtually unique; you have the opportunity to physically choose the wood for your guitar, test fit the neck profile before finish to fine tune it to you; actively be involved in the design of the body shape or headstock or add personal touches such as signature decals and paint colours or finishes.
Communication is key. You will receive constant build photo updates, and you can call or visit the workshop when you like to discuss ongoing progress or amendments, though 3am calls may meet with less creative dialogue!
It's your guitar, your spirit and ideas translated into physical form by a passionate, highly-skilled, experienced craftsman, and it's a one-off!
